Registration with ERAZO TAEKWONDO GERMANY e.V. / Selection procedure (children):
Please understand that, at times, we have to make the difficult decision to decline an interested party. These decisions are made collectively by the coaching staff after a probationary period. It is essential that the children themselves show genuine interest in learning Taekwondo, not just their parents. The well-being and motivation of the children are key factors in our decision-making process. It serves no purpose if only the parents are eager for their children to learn Taekwondo with us. We encourage you to consider this carefully before requesting trial training.
We may also decide against an interested party if we observe from the beginning that they do not align well with our team. This decision has nothing to do with origin, religion, or social class. At Erazo Taekwondo Germany e.V., people of all backgrounds are welcome and treated equally. We uphold the principles of Taekwondo as a way of life: discipline, integrity, respect, courtesy, self-control, perseverance, and self-confidence.
With us, living and training together works because we meet each other on equal terms and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Registration Process and Selection Criteria (Children):
We are proud to be a state performance center, which means we are deeply committed to developing and promoting talented athletes at state, federal, and even international levels. For this reason, we have a few admission criteria that, in our opinion, are fair and easy to meet.
Anyone interested in learning the Olympic sport of Taekwondo is welcome at our club. Taekwondo carries a clear educational mission, and our trained and licensed coaches are dedicated to helping our students achieve their individual goals and dreams. These goals may include:
• Achieving a black belt and mastering the art of Taekwondo.
• Pursuing a national or international competitive career.
• Training simply for fun.
• Improving fitness and overall health.
• Participating in a structured and meaningful sporting activity.
• Strengthening a sense of community and making new friends.
Trial Training Details:
At Erazo Taekwondo Germany e.V., every interested individual has the opportunity to participate in a free, 4-week trial training program. Trial sessions take place exclusively on Saturdays over four consecutive weekends, according to the following schedule:
• 9:00 a.m. – Children up to 10 years old
• 10:00 a.m. – Children aged 10 to 13
• 11:00 a.m. – Adults
This structure ensures that prospective members can gain meaningful insights into different training sessions and better evaluate their fit for the program. After the 4-week trial, a decision will be made jointly with the parents and coaching staff about joining the club.
Selection Criteria:
The final decision to accept a participant into our club is based on several factors, including:
1. Concentration and discipline: Ability to follow simple instructions and behave respectfully.
2. Punctuality: Being on time is essential. Late arrivals disrupt training, cause participants to miss important protocols
(such as warm-ups), and increase the risk of injury.
3. Willingness to learn: Demonstrating genuine interest and effort.
4. Commitment to paying monthly fees on time: Timely contributions are crucial for the sustainability of the club.
5. Long-term participation: We do not accept “club jumpers” (people who join for a few weeks and then quit). Such behavior is damaging to the club and unfair to coaches who invest their time, expertise, and care in training participants. For this reason, we provide an intensive trial program and a detailed explanatory discussion upfront to ensure mutual understanding.
Joining the Erazo Family:
If you believe that you and your child can adhere to these simple guidelines and are eager to become part of the Erazo Family, we would be delighted to welcome you to our trial training program.
A Message from Us:
Our children are our future.
Let’s shape the future positively.
Together, we will create new Champions:
both in sports and in life.
We look forward to meeting you!
